Since its founding in 1999, NowaEco has grown into Turkmenistan’s leading producer of environmentally responsible paper, pulp, and packaging solutions. The company stands out for its innovative use of agricultural waste and recycled paper as core raw materials — turning what would otherwise be discarded into high-quality, recyclable products.

Rovshen Aydogdyyev
Chief Executive Officer
Rovshen leads NowaEco with a strong background in finance, leadership, and public sector management. His previous roles at Turkmengas, the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, and the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs highlight his strategic expertise. With degrees in economics from the Institute of National Economy and the Academy of State Service, Rovshen combines deep financial insight with visionary leadership. Fluent in Turkmen, Russian, and English, he guides NowaEco’s growth as a sustainable industry leader in Turkmenistan and international markets.
Maksat Gulov
Founder and Chief Operating Officer
Maksat brings over 20 years of operational and industrial experience to NowaEco. As COO, he oversees daily operations across the company’s manufacturing sites, ensuring efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. With a background in industrial engineering and production management, Maksat has led multiple complex projects, including facility upgrades and lean implementation. His leadership has been key in scaling NowaEco’s capacity and aligning operations with global sustainability standards. Maksat is known for his results-driven mindset and commitment to operational excellence.
Mekan Gulov
Chief Financial Officer
Mekan serves as NowaEco’s CFO, bringing 17 years of experience in financial management, business accounting, and IT systems. He has deep expertise in cash flow analysis, financial strategy, and project consulting—especially for startups and small businesses. Having worked on Government Investment Programmes, he understands complex budgeting and execution. A graduate of the Turkmen-Turkish International University, Mekan combines finance and IT expertise to support NowaEco’s sustainable financial growth and performance tracking.
Vitaly Podosinnikov
Supply Chain Manager
With more than 20 years of international logistics experience, Vitaly has held leadership roles at Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, and Olam International Ltd. At NowaEco, he manages the entire logistics and global trading function, ensuring smooth and efficient supply chain operations. He has successfully built strategies to optimize flow of goods, services, and information across markets. Vitaly also served as a Global Trading Director, focusing on strategic growth and marketing. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Turkmen National University of World Languages
Shemshat Mamedova
Sales Manager
Shemshat joined NowaEco in 2019, bringing strong leadership and organizational experience from her previous role as director of a leading School of Economics in Turkmenistan. With over 15 years in the education sector, she developed a reputation for strategic planning and people management. At NowaEco, she leads sales and client relationship management, excelling in lead generation, customer engagement, and revenue growth. She holds a degree from Turkmen National University of World Languages and is known for her outstanding communication and client service skills.
Hemra Allakov
Legal Council
Hemra holds a Law degree from Maxim Gorky University and Belarus State University, and has extensive legal experience in the Ministries of Agriculture and Energy of Turkmenistan. His expertise spans public law, commercial contracts, and international business compliance. Hemra has also served as a legal advisor to foreign construction firms, handling regulatory matters and contractual negotiations. At NowaEco, he ensures full legal compliance, supports contract structuring, and advises on local and international legal risks affecting the company’s operations.
Kakamyrat Gulov
Head of Nowa Eco UK Ltd
UK representative office
With over 22 years of international experience, Kakamyrat leads strategic development and investment initiatives for NowaEco and serves as the Head of the company’s UK Representative Office. He plays a key role in expanding global partnerships, engaging with financial institutions, and promoting NowaEco’s international presence. His previous work spans construction, oil, and gas, where he managed large-scale projects and secured financing from institutions like the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). He holds a Law degree from Central Asian University in Almaty, combining legal and business expertise to drive global growth.
Bekmyrat Mamedov
Quality Management Systems Manager
Bekmyrat has been a key part of NowaEco’s team since 2013, overseeing the development and implementation of quality management systems across the entire production cycle — from raw material collection to finished product delivery. As Head of Quality Management, he is responsible for maintaining compliance with international standards, including ISO 9001 certification. With deep operational knowledge of sourcing, processing, and product control, Bekmyrat plays a central role in ensuring consistency, performance, and continual improvement throughout NowaEco’s manufacturing and sustainability operations.
